A man without a country
It was a saturday afternoon.I was all done with the daily mail.Now,all I could think about was Mr Kurt Vonnegut.Well I was reading "A man without a country" last nite. Mr Kurt Vonnegut is the author of this New York Times Best Seller.
It was weird but interesting and completely American . Being an Indian I doubt if i did a proper justice to the book. Man , Its really tough to write a book and make it all interesting without a story to follow up. All you have is a character,And you donot even know if its the same character you are following up . May be i should not even call it a character, rather I should say I have a protagonist kindaa role.Well my knoweldge of english is limited and until I find the proper word , let's stick to "character".I could not help but wonder when he talked about creative writing. The thought for creative writing goes as follows . If u wanna dive into the realm of creative writing , make sure u get rid of your semicolons . Its like ";" are the villains of your "Creative writing" story. I donot how much truth is there but you got to read that damn book to have the fun. How many people can say second world war was funny.No offences.All he wanted to say is humor got its root from pain.And then all of a sudden from the root of humor you move into the Dresden war and then to a chemistry lab.
I had fun reading it.
Now it was almost 5pm.I got to go out .I switched onthe TV,what else could i had done except to catch upon what's on the big "Television", while i got dressed for the outing.After browsing through a dozen of channels in the shortspan of 3o mins n having got glimpses of thousands of soap operas and reality shows ,I decided Television sucks..
